Actually, Its Eisenhower

"To demonstrate his steadfast support for the ayub regime, US president Eisenhower visited Pakistan in December 1959. This was the first ever visit of an American president to this country. His Boeing-707 aircraft landed at Mauripur Airport as the Karachi International Airport at that time was not sufficiently equipped to provide landing facilities to a Boeing-707 the biggest wide bodied jet which was landing at karachi for the first time. I was assigned by Radio Pakistan to do a live running commentary on President Eisenhower's arrival and later to interpret in Urdu his address at a public meeting in Karachi."

Hasan, Burhanuddin. (2000). Uncensored. Karachi: Royal Book Company. pp.11

The fact that made me remember this was Mr. Burhanuddin Hasan got the text of his speech an hour or so before the it was actually made, and he was told that there might be deviations from the written texts as the president saw fit. Must have required a lot of nerve to translate like that...

its anwar el sadaat in 1978 and then Dr Abdus Salam in 1979..which i doubt could be said to be muslim according to Pakistan Law.. ...just to ask something that came into my mind...is nt CSS a bit harsh on religious minorities..because Islamiat is compulsory and not every bright person aspiring to be a CSS officer is a muslim.
